We had our first Thursday night auction down at Mineral Springs Music Barn
and it was a success! We had some really interesting pieces (nothing expensive
just interesting) and most everything sold. Everyone had a good time, and we'll
be having another one next Thursday at 7:30pm at the Mineral Springs Music
Barn off Waxhaw Hwy. If you have anything you want to sell bring it on, we'll sell
it for you.

I've liked auctions all my life and started attending them when I was 9 years old. I started wanting to become an auctioneer shortly thereafter. Talking fast is the easiest part of it, which I found out when I enrolled in auctioneer school at Stanly Community College. There are tons of laws, rules, and regulations. But no doubt, it's fun (a whole lot of work, but fun).
Some friends of mine and I that went through the class together are trying to get a weekly Thursday night auction started down in Mineral Springs, N.C. at the Mineral Springs Music Barn. The first one is Thursday, April 9 at 7:30 PM. I would like everyone to come. You don't have to buy anything, and it doesn't cost anything to get in. We'd just like to have a crowd, because it's more fun with a lot of people. We'll have everything from antiques to household items for our first Thursday Night sale. If you have anything you'd like to sale, feel free to bring it.
Mainly, just come. Let's make this an exciting event!
