Ever since the flood in August of last year my power bill has gotten higher and higher. I live in the Doral apts. Duke energy put in these new style digital meters that are suppose to be more accurate. Yeah more accurate in lineing thier pockets with our hard earned money. I have been in contact with Duke Energy for the past two weeks and they refuse to come out to inspect the meter they installed. They admit to installing some meters backwards but will not come inspect mine. the reason in thier words are ..." DUE TO A HIGH VOLUME OF HIGH BILL INQUIRES WE ARE UNABLE TO SEND A TECH OUT TO THE PROPERTY TO INSPECT YOUR METER. What the heck is that? How about you get off your butts and do the job you are asked to do and earn that big paycheck you get. I guess my next route is calling any one of our local tv stations and let them get in on the fun. If anyone would like to forward this blog to a tv stationyou go right ahead .
