In an age where by law the police can't profile motorists, I find it amazing that profiling by age is not only legal but newsworthy! How is the St. Louis County Police setting up a road block outside of high schools any different than setting up outside of a mosque, or a nightclub frequented by African Americans?
If age profiling is allowable, why aren't the police setting up outside of retirement communities as well? Their death rate per miles driven is comparable to that of teenagers...
